Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 1, 2026

Welcome to the JKS Business Solutions website. These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using this website and the general terms that apply when you contact, schedule with, or purchase services from JKS Business Solutions.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website.

1. About JKS Business Solutions

JKS Business Solutions provides bookkeeping, financial record organization, QuickBooks support, and related administrative and operational services for small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, tax, investment, financial planning, or certified public accounting advice.

I am not a law firm, CPA firm, tax preparation firm, or financial advisory firm. Clients may be encouraged to consult an attorney, CPA, tax professional, payroll provider, or other qualified professional when appropriate.

2. Website Information

I make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information. However, website content may contain errors, omissions, or information that becomes outdated.

I do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of information provided through this website.

I may update, revise, or remove website content at any time without notice.

3. No Client Relationship Created by Website Use

Visiting this website, submitting a contact form, sending an email, or scheduling an initial consultation does not automatically create a client relationship.

A client relationship begins only after JKS Business Solutions and the client have agreed to the scope and terms of the engagement, generally through a written proposal, engagement letter, service agreement, or other written confirmation.

Any signed client agreement will control if its terms differ from these general website Terms & Conditions.

4. Consultations and Scheduling

JKS Business Solutions may offer an initial consultation to discuss a prospective client's needs and determine whether the services are a good fit.

An initial consultation does not guarantee that JKS Business Solutions will accept an engagement or provide the requested services.

Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled in accordance with the cancellation policy provided during booking. Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in limits on future scheduling.

5. Services and Scope of Work

The specific services, responsibilities, deadlines, pricing, and deliverables for each client will be described in the applicable proposal, engagement letter, or service agreement.

I will perform only the services included in the agreed scope of work. Additional services may require written approval and may result in additional fees.

Clients remain responsible for reviewing their financial records, business decisions, filings, reports, and other information prepared or organized as part of the engagement.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely records, access, explanations, approvals, and other information reasonably required to perform the agreed services.

JKS Business Solutions is not responsible for delays, errors, missed deadlines, penalties, or incomplete work caused by:

  • Missing, inaccurate, or late information;

  • Delayed access to accounts or software;

  • Failure to respond to questions or requests;

  • Actions taken by the client or another service provider; or

  • Circumstances outside my reasonable control.

Clients are responsible for maintaining their original financial, legal, tax, employment, and organizational records.

7. QuickBooks and Third-Party Services

JKS Business Solutions provides bookkeeping services using QuickBooks Online. As part of my services, I maintain the QuickBooks Online subscription for each client through my QuickBooks ProAdvisor account whenever available.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients will be enrolled in the lowest-tier QuickBooks Online subscription that reasonably supports their bookkeeping needs. If additional features or services require an upgraded subscription or additional QuickBooks add-on service, I will notify the client and obtain written approval before making the change whenever reasonably possible.

Clients are responsible for reimbursing JKS Business Solutions for the applicable QuickBooks Online subscription and any QuickBooks add-on services selected for their business, including any available ProAdvisor discounts.

From time to time, I may also use other third-party software or services to provide or support my bookkeeping services. Unless otherwise stated in writing, clients are responsible for any agreed-upon third-party software subscriptions, government filing fees, payment processing fees, or other direct costs related to their engagement.

Third-party providers have their own terms, privacy practices, security measures, availability, and service limitations. I am not responsible for outages, changes, data loss, security incidents, pricing changes, or other actions caused by third-party providers.

8. Fees and Payment

Fees may be charged as a flat fee, hourly fee, recurring monthly fee, or another structure described in the applicable proposal or service agreement.

Invoices are due according to the payment terms shown on the invoice or client agreement.

I may pause or discontinue services if an invoice remains unpaid, required information is not provided, or the client otherwise fails to meet the terms of the engagement.

Additional fees may apply when work falls outside the original scope, records require more extensive correction than anticipated, or expedited service is requested.

9. Refunds

Because JKS Business Solutions provides professional services involving reserved time, research, review, and customized work, completed services are generally nonrefundable.

Any refund eligibility will be determined under the Refund Policy and the terms of the applicable client agreement.

Payments for third-party software, government filing fees, processing fees, or other outside costs may be nonrefundable.

10. No Guarantee of Results

JKS Business Solutions will provide services with reasonable care and professionalism but cannot guarantee a particular financial, tax, legal, regulatory, operational, or business result.

Government agencies, financial institutions, software providers, tax authorities, and other third parties make their own decisions and may change their requirements, processing times, fees, or procedures.

Estimates of time, cost, or outcome are based on the information available at the time and may change as additional information becomes known.

11 Confidentiality and Data Security

JKS Business Solutions takes reasonable steps to protect confidential information provided by clients and website visitors.

However, no email system, website, cloud platform, or electronic transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should avoid sending highly sensitive information through unsecured email or general website contact forms.

Confidentiality obligations related to client work may be described more fully in the applicable client agreement and Privacy Policy.
